Austin's birthday parties

Austin is 1 (tomorrow-August 5)

Can it really be possible that one year ago tonight I was in the hospital knowing that my last born would be born the following day? It just seems like yesterday, really. Justin and I debated the addition of a third child to our family for awhile, but now I can't imagine our family without Austin in it. He's such an amazing child who is just so happy and full of love. The problems that surrounded his entry to this world will forever be small in comparison to the addition that he has brought to us. I love every new phase of his life, but secretly mourn that each stage passed is one that I will never again experience. When I look at this boy's smile, I say a silent prayer thanking my Heavenly Father for knowing that we needed this child!

What the.....??????

I took the kids to the grocery store to pick out a cake for Austin's birthday. As we were looking at the book of designs, there was a Power Rangers cake. Tyson (7 years) stated, "Oh, that is so 1995." I almost choked! What did he say? He commented on another on (Bob the Builder), "Oh, that is so five minutes ago!" Oh my!
