Hop on over to my design blog: Little Penguins Designs for the blog train information!

My life has been taken over by football. I’m pretty certain that certain family members knew that this would happen, but neglected to tell me for fear that I wouldn’t let Tyson sign up. Those family members will remain nameless, but one’s name starts with a “ShaRee” and ends with a “Jones” and the other one’s name starts with a “Marishia” and also ends with a “Jones.”
Tyson’s first scrimmage game was Saturday. Justin took a lot of pictures with his camera, but I forgot to get them off his camera before he left for the week. I made copies of my mother-in-law’s pictures and thought I’d put those up until Justin gets back.
Tys did so good. He ran hard and played hard. At the end, he even had two of his coaches call him out in front of the team and compliment him on what a great job he did. If you know my Tyson, you know what a wonderful thing that was for him. So, despite the loss of my (almost previously nonexistent) free-time, we’ll keep up with football and mom will just add some extra Excedrin into her daily diet!
Kasen and Kylie came to watch too (and play with Emma)
Austin drove Lightning McQueen and Mr. The King around for almost the entire time. Here, he’s showing his cars to Grandma. So serious.
Yes, I’m behind on my scrapping. It’s a trend in my life these days. Not so happy about playing catch-up all the time lately, but that’s what it is.
I haven’t scrapped the following pictures, but just HAD to put them here. My brothers-in-law have no shame. They were demonstrating their best Old Man looks, which inspired the kids. Oh my!
My nephew Easton (below) will do anything his uncle Josh asks of him. I had to document this!
Yes, I missed again last week. I will not successfully complete my resolution this year, but I’m going to keep at it since I’ve really only missed twice. I did two recipes this week to make up (does dessert really count?).
Just a note about the pork chop recipe. I had a heck of a time trying to find chili sauce in the store. It is with the Asian foods for those of us who didn’t already know that!
We also visited Flaming Gorge Reservoir
In the picture below left, you can see the dam. In the picture above right and ones below, there is one of the coolest bridges ever. It was really impressive.
While in Vernal, we made a trip to the Natural History Museum. How could we resist when there were life-sized dino replicas outside the building? They had a short movie at the beginning to talk about the history of dinos in Vernal and how they found the bones, but Austin just did not want to sit still when there were dinos (“doanes”) right outside that room! Justin watched the video with the big kids while I chased the little penguin around!
That girl just loves to have her picture taken. I think she was showing how she can balance.
Above right is the “Utah Raptor” or the velociraptor seen in Jurassic Park.
At this point, Tyson would no longer “pose” for pictures, but naturally, Emma would. Hence, more pictures of Emma here.
Not too much description to give, just fun, cool pictures!
