“With the weather so beautiful now, we’ve been taking advantage of it and going to the lake.  Boating is a fun activity for the kids and mom too.  We love when grandma and cousins can join us.”

We are so lucky to live in the community of Daybreak.  Oquirrh Lake serves as great free entertainment for us.  We love that we can check out kayaks or canoes when they’re open and just row around the lake.  Little Man’s old enough to enjoy it this year so it makes it even easier for us to go now!  So much fun!

Ladybug, Ladybug…Fly Away Home

Our community had a ladybug release day on Friday at one of the community gardens.  We were able to get a container of 1200 (or so they said) ladybugs for only $1.00.  Awesome.  For the mere cost of $1.00, we got to be cool parents for a night!

Eavesdropping on the Kids….

Emma was on her hands and knees on the floor pretending she was an animal (which drives Tyson absolutely CRAZY). 

Tyson:  “EMMMMMA!  Stop!  You are NOT a dog!”

Emma:  “Well, you’re right Tyson.  I’m Not a dog.  I’m a horse!”

Spring in Utah is my favorite!  We can play outside again and see beautiful stuff bloom!
